CHANCE2CHANGE 501(c)3 incorporated in 2019, a registerd Quality Pre-Apprenticeship, and Reentry conduit for youth and adults that have been system impacted or traumatized and transitioning from unpleasant circumstances. Our commitment to the community is to provide relatable and relevant support services, resources and organizations that deeply understand the challenges surrounding the diverse set of challenges and barriers faced within a specific population, a talented untapped pool of talent.
To ensure our committments are fulfilled our team is equipped with mixed talent combined with employer partners, educators, vocational training providers, child care providers, mental health substance providers, and financial instituions equipped with the tools needed to address the known barriers . We have complete confidence in the quality of our services and have proven success that dedicating time and consistently applying the steps as instructed, you can overcome and change any challenge you are faced with. Our history of building lasting relationships with our array of partners (community, stakeholders and institutions), allows us 2 continue providing these unique set of tools and resources to veterans, individuals with disabilities, and adults or youth transitioning from the justice system.
Chance 2 Change was conceived from the struggles and pain endured by the founder Caraway, who turned the pain into Super Powers & Purpose.
Founder AK Caraway, proud mother, multi-business owner, leader and public speaker shares her personal EXperiences with others on how she and others have and can overcome barriers faced when labeled reentry, maternal grief, depression, and etc. By sharing Lived EXperiences we have been able to provide data that may allow others to understand the challenges and barriers faced by individuals with undiagnosed, misdiagnosed, or undetected disabilities and the reintegrating citizen. Contrary to popular belief, the success to reentry is intentional and built from empathy and compassion not a set of instructional methods to apply. Today , Caraway proudly leads the nations Annual Non Traditional Reentry Job & Resource eXpo showcasing tons of second chance vendors offering educational & employment tools, small business resources, and shared EXperiences followed by success stories from justice touched individuals such as aged out foster care or individuals who have served time. Chance2Change was conceived from a real lived shameful experience that had to be shared to get through and become a demonstration that with the right support anyone can achieve greatness.

Our staff consist of seasoned professionals and eXperienced industry leaders from non-traditional careers and entrepreneurial pathways willing to give back and provide opportunities in historically underserved communities.
CHANCE2CHANGE is a liason and pre-apprenticeship that uses strategic steps to form partnerships between schools, employers, workforce boards, community and state partners allowing us to create unique opportunities and create a more quality skilled pool of talent to meet the demands of the workforce.

Provide career pathways and awareness to individuals from marginalized communities beginning with grades K-12 and Adults facing barriers that may range from lack of education/job skills, justice impacted and aging out of foster care.
We are committed to changing lives using a metacognitive approach including high quality skill development, mental health resources and financial literacy through a range of services requiring strong communication, collaboration, and support from all stakeholders and organizations mentioned.
